UPDATE!!! WHY IS SWEET GREEN SERVING SUCH DRY CHICKEN LATELY? $25 TO $30 FOR MY SALAD AND I HAVE TO THROW THE CHICKEN AWAY CHECK OUT THE PICTURE! REDICULOUS HAPPENS ALMOST 3 DAYS A WEEK. We pulled up to sweetgreen recently and saw the lady cleaning the glass in front of the food . We stood outside and watched before we went inside to make sure she was not spraying the glass so the spray could drift onto the food. Well, it turns out she did exactly the wrong thing and sprayed the glass where there's a seam at the top where the spray can go directly onto the food. Unfortunately we went somewhere else. There's a worker there by the name of Juanito who is pretty rude and interrupts people as their either talking to somebody to place an order in the family or if they're on the phone he yells really loud with no respect whatsoever. We actually turn away and go eat somewhere else if we see him working. We have been going to sweet green for many years, 5 days a week. It's got great food, but the 2 issues I have are the chicken many times has been dry and the staff at one Loudoun are not the best. They look miserable the majority and not happy to be there. I try to avoid this location. Merrifield and reston have nicer, happier staff and less dry chicken. Oh, and I am pissed off they raised the prices it has gotten very expensive, so we only go 1 time a week instead of 5 times.

It’s always hit or miss depending on how fast you and get your food. Sometimes it’s just rush hour. BUT what I will say is when you get the food it’s so good and has you filled with energy for the day. Appreciate how it never weighs heavy on the stomach. Definitely a bit pricey but with the economy you’ll be paying the same amount at McDonald’s or chic fil A anyways so might as well make it green 🥰

Go to CAVA instead- this place is horribly managed.

This is the 2nd time that I've ordered online and NOT GOTTEN WHAT I PAID FOR.

I ordered a custom bowl (with many PAID add-ons) only to receive a bowl with a spoonful of rice and some spinach. Literally EVERYTHING was correct on the ticket that was taped to my bowl-- how do you only put in 2 ingredients and then send it off?! Absolutely unacceptable.

Not to mention the fact that my bowl was never sealed and half open in the bag that it was delivered in.

Biggest waste of money ever.

Although my previous experiences have been great. I wouldn’t recommend this location. It is clear there is some sort of issue with upper-management. Outside of the store. This store has rotating employees constantly, who never seem to be trained properly… and prioritizing online orders over customer orders because they’re too swamped with them to be able to assist. They appear to always be struggling and stressed/overworked. I have made and filed two complaints already with the workforce division for Loudoun County. I have been coming here for a little over a year and the only employees that have stayed are scarce. The employees are not the problem… very sad that they continue to work tirelessly and take the blame within these horrendous reviews.
If food is missing, not enough product, management.
If employees are instructed to pay attention to online orders, management.
If the employees are not trained properly or have a clear gap in understanding or knowledge, management.
I will not be dining here again, seeing my favorite sweetgreen people being so badly overworked and undervalued is not something I will sit with any longer.

Went in today for the reservation only soft opening! Staff was very friendly and efficient. I did a make your own salad with kale, baby spinach, blackened chicken, carrots, spicy broccoli, and cucumbers with a lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette. Delicious and will definitely be back!

Despite the delicious salad, my experience at the restaurant was disappointing. When I entered, I found 10 employees behind the counter, none of whom greeted me or smiled. I stood in line for 5 minutes before someone finally came to assist me, as they seemed occupied with online orders. While I understand that it may be a new location with new staff, the management should be made aware of these issues. Welcoming gestures are very important in any business and walk-in customers should be prioritized, the staff should be trained accordingly. Good thing I wasn’t hangry!

So happy Loudoun has a Sweet Green! Finally! Got the hot honey chicken salad and a buffalo chicken salad. And walked out with some free bonus treats — super tasty gelato popsicles from Fantasticks and a gift from a new local shop Handmade by LMAC (Local Makers, Artists and Crafters). Am deforest coming back — thank you, SG, and will check our Fantasticks (a pop up) and LMAC across the street! Big win for Loudoun residents and One Loudoun!
