I walked in to the Plainfield store and Matt immediately greeted me and allowed me to walk around the store. After a bit he helped me find what i was looking for, and we had pleasant conversation about our shared interest in toys. I came back for a second visit a week later, this time with my teenage son. Both Matt and the owner of the store were there, and we had another great customer service experience. Great store, lots of cool items, and great customer service all around. Purchased items both times in the store. 5 stars!

I was disappointed when they moved to Edinburg since it’s over an hour away but now that the Plainfield store is open I don’t have to drive as far. Eventually I’ll get to the Edinburg store. D’s is always a fun place to shop. The selection is always interesting to browse and the staff is helpful. Went in acouple days ago and bought my first autographed funko. It was pricey but they were willing to drop the price to make a sell. Still the most I’ve ever paid for a funko but it’s autographed with COA and it came in a hard case. Plus I bought three other funkos and some neca horror figures for my collection. They also do a loyalty card that gets you $50 off once you get six stamps. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

They have a great supply of toys and funkos but the price for two funkos that was part of a set of five was the same price as all five funkos on ebay with shipping included. No reason 50 dollars should be 200 in the store. Even with half price on buy one get one. The people inside are very nice though.

The atmosphere and the people are amazing, it feels like you are walking into childhood! And they always have amazing deals going on! Will definitely be going back!

I would rate this place 0 stars if that was possible. The most egregious pricing I have ever seen. All of the
bad reviews mention ebay pricing but I'd argue that ebay is better. I'm almost 100% certain I could find the barbie dolls here for 50-80% cheaper on ebay. I can tell there is barely any care that is put into anything here, as a lot of the toys I was looking at were labeled wrong.. almost worthless small mid-gen LPS toys with very little demand that were the size of a quarter were priced at $6-15 a piece. Do not support this business, it is clearly not what it used to be considering most positive reviews are from years ago or a mistake in location.

Absolutely will not return. As a comic and figure collector I was excited to see a new place open up so close by. Spent an hour flipping through the comics and picked out a handful. I go to check out and the guy starts scanning the books through the eBay app to find the prices. Now I’m not a dummy, I know prices for a lot of book and the books I picked up. What I thought was going to be about 30 dollars, the guy gives me a price over 100 bucks and started telling me they’d be worth that much graded when these weren’t even bagged or boarded. I will never return and I’ve let a few other collectors in the area to avoid them. Absolutely wild at the process and how it was handled. It makes me wonder how many people they’ve scammed or took advantage of.
