The staff were very professional with just the right level of attention. We were a party of five and ordered both daily specials and regular menu items, All of the dishes were very enjoyable. We also liked the wine choices. Surprised since this is located in a strip mall, but would happily return if only we lived in the area.

Went there for a date night on a recommendation. The moment we walked in we were greeted by Kelly who chose the perfect table for us away from others so we had some sort of privacy. Turns out Kelly was our server as well and she clearly has a knack for great customer service. Very friendly, welcoming and her knowledge of the bar/dinner menu was impressive. We ordered a specific drink off her recommendation and she went out of her way to make it herself and it didn’t disappoint. The whole flow of the evening was positive and the experience we shared was carefree. Our meals were prepared well and tasted phenomenal. We can’t say enough about how Kelly treated us during our visit. I believe in tipping well and it’s up to the server to change that. Kelly earned every bit of it and probably more. So thank you Casa for allowing us to experience our evening with Kelly. She truly is the backbone to your staff.

Moved to this area recently and heard good things about the Italian food here—— and yes! It’s true! I love chicken Alfredo and I tried it here. So yummy! The sauce is exceptional, tender chicken (and generous portions) and the broccoli was not tough and not mushy! Just right😊Friendly staff and the cook/owner came out to say hello. What a pleasant experience the four of us had here ! I almost licked the plate😂We will be back👍🏻andddddd u must try the pistachio dessert!!!!

We planned a special night out and were excited to finally try this place after three years! Unfortunately, our evening was interrupted by a family emergency. After tending to our family matters and some back and forth discussions, we decided to stick with our dinner plans and opted for takeout. While we typically wouldn’t order takeout from such a restaurant—knowing we would miss out on the atmosphere, presentation, and personal service—we were willing to sacrifice those elements in order to finally enjoy some authentic, high-quality Italian food.
The online menu featured beautiful pictures and detailed descriptions of their offerings. We chose an appetizer, three entrées, and three side salads, resulting in a bill of over $140. Although pricey for takeout, we considered it a deal for an elevated Italian meal of this caliber.
We always check our takeout orders to ensure everything is included, as there’s nothing worse than driving all the way home only to find something missing. The takeout boxes were tightly wrapped in several layers of saran wrap, so we assumed that at $32 to $38 per entrée, everything would be fine this time. While we understood that presentation would be lacking due to the disposable containers, we were excited to enjoy the food! We ordered everything as described on the website menu, except we added grilled shrimp to two entrées for an expected upcharge and ordered three side Caesar salads. Bread was included with each entrée.
We ordered the chef's specialty, the Italian Trio, because we couldn't choose just one dish—the entire menu sounded wonderful! Here’s a breakdown of our order:
- Risotto Balls: $10- Chicken Marsala: ~$25 -Added grilled shrimp: ~$6 - Added side Caesar: ~$3 - Total: $34 Chicken Broccoli Alfredo (“Housemade Alfredo”):~$29 - Added grilled shrimp: ~$6
- Added side Caesar: ~$3 - Total: $38
- The Italian Trio (sampler of the chef's specialties): Chicken Parm, Spaghetti & Meatballs, and Lasagna topped with Alfredo, plus a side Caesar: $32
To our disappointment, both my husband and I tried hard not to express our frustration, especially after the challenging day we’d had. We just wanted to enjoy our meal together. However, with each bite we shared, our disappointment grew.
To summarize, since we already wasted over $140 of our hard-earned money, I don’t want to waste any more time and just wish to forget the entire meal.
Buyers beware. The bread was missing, and the portions were small. The cream sauces tasted watered down, with the Alfredo being particularly bland and lacking in chicken and broccoli. The Marsala sauce tasted like the water from canned mushrooms, the mushrooms themselves were not fresh, and the dish had no wine. The small, lightly dusted tenderloin was dry and completely flavorless. The added shrimp were overcooked, unseasoned, and a letdown. We had to attempt to salvage the dishes by adding our own fresh Italian seasonings, salt, pepper, and fresh parmesan just to make them edible. The Italian Trio, which included Chicken Parm, spaghetti, one meatball, and Alfredo-topped lasagna, seemed either burnt or had been sitting under a heating lamp for hours. The consistency was akin to leather. The chicken and meatball were tasteless and dry, and the meatball was mostly bread crumbs, served with an exceedingly small amount of watery red sauce and only a tiny portion of wet spaghetti.
The risotto balls had tasteless breading, overdone risotto, and an underwhelming filling, also served with a very small amount of bland, watery red sauce. We ended up heating a jar of store-bought red sauce to get through the meal.
We are not the kind of people to be overly picky or complain often, but to order three meals that are all terrible is more than just a bad day. Spending over $140—not including the tip—felt like we were robbed. It’s unbelievable that this restaurant markets itself as an upscale Italian establishment and remains in business at all. Thank goodness we didn’t bring our large family as we initially planned.

Casa D’Italia is under NEW MANAGEMENT and OWNERSHIP, and the commitment to service and quality couldn’t be better. The roses at each table are adorable, and the food not only tastes incredible (best meatballs in town!), but is plated to perfection. Everyone else on staff has been there from the beginning and continue to offer a small-town, family feel. Given the portion sizes (they are HUGE), prices are extremely reasonable—I dare you to try to finish their 7 LAYER LASAGNA! The steak Gorgonzola is a personal favorite (ask for the steak blackened!).

Highly recommended!

My goodness! This place has the best food we have found in Lee since moving here 8 months ago. And the service is top-notch! Beatriz was our server & she said she has been here since day 1. She checked on us constantly! She’s the best! The front hosting crew were so nice. They have indoor & outdoor seating - we chose outside. Date night was a win for hubby & I! Photos were taken after we started eating FYI!!

Hope this brightens your day.
Casa D, the restaurant accessable from the front gate, is back!! OMG, my husband, Tim and I, just left. So, I loved this place 2 years ago when we first moved to Verandah.
Now, were in love with this place. What happened? The food and service-incredible!
I don't eat lots of carbs. I wanted Eggplants Parm. Amy, the amazing bartender(and, I thought Paul was amazing, well, he is) recommended I have my eggplant Parm with streamed veggies. To die for and too much to eat in 1 sitting.
Amy is a doll and very personable. I tried to describe a drink to her and she-somehow, read my tastebuds, and made the perfect martini.
We met the chef, Eddyberto-goes by Bert. What a sweet and humble man. We saw photos of his new 1 month old little girl. He's a great dad and fabulous chef
Ok, did I mention the food?
Tim had chicken Francese, it was moist with fresh chicken and just enough lemon, delicious and Amazing. My eggplant and veggies surpassed my expectations-which are always too high...
Fantastic food and great fellowship. What more?
The thing Tim and I loved about Casa D's 2 years ago, was the local element. We love to meet new friends and hear their stories. The community touch that has the magic too bring us all together, it's still there!!
Thank you to all the employees who love this place as much as we do and whose passion and commitment continue to make it special for us all. New Owners, New Chef, Winning combination!!
If you haven't been in a while, Go Back and you will be pleasantly surprised!!
Hugs. Let us know what you think or better still invite us to join u!! Sheila and Tim Munson
