Great food with decent pricing and great service. Our server, Angel, was amazing. We tried a few combinations of their waffles (red velvet, oreo, and elvis). A few of their egg dishes as well. Grits were amazing. Will definitely come back next time we r in town.

Due to my profession, I basically eat out everyday, and often I get so tired of restaurant food in general, except some expensive ($200+) course meals here and there.

I understand that a vibe is a big deal to most restaurant patrons, and I’ve seen so many incredible restaurants in the world, yet, they are usually the locations, decors, service, atmosphere, not exactly the VIVES.

I’m a very feely person and the staffs’ personalities, and the love towards their profession and patrons are one of the major factors in the establishment’s vibe.

I read some of the review mentioning about their martini being too sweet. Unfortunately I’m not a drinker and have no idea about adult beverages, but the food I ordered was very tasty for what it is, it’s simple yet I tasted a very important ingredient they didn’t forget to add… LOVE.

Thanks for all you do and trying the best to serve! And I love all the tunes you play. It compliments the mood of your already great vibe.

They charge for plastic ware and we were not to go orders. The waitress was not happy about having a party our size. She didn't try to ask why plastic was needed. Ignored our request. Luckily, I carry mine with me. The food was good. Mimosa was warm, not chilled. With 15.00 parking, I expected more. The host was amazing and showed me to my seat.

This was my first visit to Automatic Slim’s (not sure why) and I can’t say it was worth the wait. The server was new…it was his first day so I won’t be too critical of that. The restaurant was pretty empty so the vibe was really laid back.
The food: hmmmmm. Interesting. I had the Omelette and French Toast. Honest opinion: the Omelette is not very good (burnt steak, dry, & overall lacking flavor) but it came with amazing potatoes! The French toast was, again, not very good. The texture seemed as if it was soaked in the batter for waaaaay too long and then burnt. The sauce that accompanied it was good though. GREAT PRICE ON MIMOSAS ($3)
Overall, I’m not in a hurry to go back.

The food tastes good but there were some things that could've made it better. The grits tasted amazing but they could've been cooked longer. I had the BBQ brisket Benedict and it was amazing! The mimosa tower was worth it.

Chicken picatta over mash potatoes. The meal was meh but the service from a bartender named Mark was superb. A reminder that good service can make the experience. I will give it another whirl because of Mark.

Before Brunch hit every restaurant's menu Automatic Slim's had one of the best brunches in the city! $3 mimosas or the mimosa bong for the table It was my go-to spot! Always a recommendation for others. Recently I went to check out my old favorite and although the food was pretty solid there were a few things I think they could work on. I got the red velvet waffle and added fried chicken and breakfast potatoes. My waffle was GOOD but I was disappointed at how the cream cheese was drizzled plus my potatoes were cold. The cream cheese looked like small clumps of frosting were just tossed on the waffle so I just turned it over for the picture. The flavor was there it was just the presentation. However, my real concerns are with the restrooms. They were pretty horrible and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. I couldn't stop thinking about how Automatic slim's has plenty of happy hour specials and having to use that restroom. I think with a little deep cleaning and more attention to detail they can easily jump back up to 5 stars.

Super surprising restaurant, as I'd never looked into their offerings. Wait staff was very good and the venue was appealing. Only drawback was their being out of a few items on a Friday night, which could be just par for the course these days. All the food tasted awesome and you could tell it was freshly prepared. Good bar and drink menus. I'd go back.
